John Rice, President/CEO
Prior to founding Quarem™, Mr. Rice spent 12 years in commercial real estate
brokerage with one of the largest and most respected full service commercial
real estate firms in the Dallas/Fort Worth market. Specializing in office
tenant representation and project leasing and sales, he has successfully negotiated
transactions in excess of $70 million. Mr. Rice has represented corporate
clients on a local, regional and national basis and has been recognized six
consecutive years for production achievement. He additionally spent three
years in corporate management consulting and executive recruiting with Ray
& Berndtson, one of the world's oldest and largest executive search firms.
Working within the consumer products industry group, Mr. Rice recruited and
negotiated employment agreements for top executive positions including CEO,
marketing, sales, human resources, finance and operations. He has led re-engineering
initiatives within the commercial real estate industry to improve brokerage
profitability through the effective use of technology and has consulted with
firms such as McKinsey & Company, PepsiCo, Bristol Myers Squibb and Rand McNally
& Company.
Zach Hollandsworth, Chief Technologist
Mr. Hollandsworth is responsible for the development and management of Quarem™
software applications, as well as the evaluation and integration of all third
party applications. Prior to founding Quarem, he held several management positions
within Sprint Corporation's software engineering division and was the recipient
of the Sprint Technology Leadership Award four consecutive times. Mr. Hollandsworth
spent two years with Northrop Grumman Corporation, a $15 billion global aerospace
and defense company, where he led full cycle development teams through the
requirements, analysis, design, code, and test phase of n-tier internet based
applications. He additionally led Northrop Grumman's Web Enabled Enterprise
effort, interfacing with key technologists with Sun, IBM, Oracle, Microsoft
and Netscape to evaluate and establish optimal platform for enterprise applications.
He has designed and implemented web based business to business web applications
to interpret EDI business transactions into web based supply chain management
solutions and played a key role in Sprint's Web Management Integration Team
(IPT).
